Aaron Aites
A master of the unconventional, Aaron Aites was born in 1971 in San Francisco, United States, and was active in the filmmaking industry from 2001 until his untimely death in 2016. He is recognized for his work in the documentary genre, with his most acclaimed film being the 2008 documentary "Until the Light Takes Us", which explores the Norwegian black metal scene. Although Aites did not receive major film festival awards, his unique, immersive, and unflinching authorial style resonated deeply with audiences and critics alike.
