A trailblazer in the film industry, April Mullen was born in 1984 in Niagara Falls, Canada. Mullen has been active in directing since the early 2000s, predominantly working within the realms of action, thrillers, and drama, with notable works including "88" and "Badsville", the latter of which garnered her the Best Director award at the New York International Film Awards. Mullen is known for her dynamic visual storytelling and for being the first woman to direct a live-action, fully stereoscopic 3D feature film, "Dead Before Dawn".
