A master in the realm of drama and short films, Burlee Vang was born in 1978 in Laos, a Southeast Asian country. He has been active in the film industry since the early 2000s, crafting poignant narratives in his main genres, with his most acclaimed works including ‘The Betrayal’ and ‘This Beautiful City’. Despite not having a multitude of awards at major film festivals, his compelling storytelling technique and unique authorial style have been widely recognized, notably with an Academy Award for his short film, 'The Betrayal - Nerakhoon’.
