An embodiment of eclectic British filmmaking, Charles Guard was born in 1949 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. His active years in the industry spanned from 1978 to the late 2000s, during which he majestically dabbled in various genres such as drama, romance, and fantasy, with his most notable work being "The Uninvited" (2009), co-directed with his brother Thomas Guard.
