Celebrated Venezuelan filmmaker Claudia Pinto was born in 1975 in Caracas, Venezuela. Known for her work in drama and mystery genres, Pinto has been active in the film industry from 1999 till date, with her most famous films including "The Longest Distance" and "La noche de las dos lunas". Her unique authorial style of storytelling that beautifully blends human emotions and societal issues has fetched her numerous awards, including the Goya Award for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film.
