Constantin Popescu

Romanian master of neorealism, Constantin Popescu, was born in 1973 in Bucharest, Romania, and began his active years in filmmaking from 2004. Known for his raw and compelling films within the drama genre, Popescu's most renowned works include "Principles of Life," "Portrait of the Fighter as a Young Man," and "Pororoca," the latter of which earned him the Best Director award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
