Darcyana Moreno Izel

Darcyana Moreno Izel, the raconteur of magical realism, was born in 1960 in the seaside city of Veracruz, Mexico. He has been an active filmmaker from the late 1980s to the present, mainly working in the genres of magical realism and drama, with his most acclaimed works including "El Mar de los Sueños" and "Noche de Mariposas", both of which have garnered numerous awards at international film festivals.
