Dejan Zečević
Serbian master of thrill and horror, Dejan Zečević, was born in 1962 in Belgrade, back then a part of Yugoslavia. His directing career, spanning from 1991 to present day, is mostly known for his work in thriller and horror genre, with films such as "T.T. Syndrome", "The Fourth Man", and "The Enemy" among his most recognized works. Zečević's work has been acknowledged with several awards, including the FIPRESCI prize at European Film Festival Palić, largely due to his unique authorial style of exploring the darkest corners of human psyche set against the backdrop of socio-political issues. Zečević, with his bold narratives and relentless exploration of fear, has proven to be a relentless force in Serbian cinema, consistently pushing the boundaries of the horror and thriller genre.
