Tacchi specialized in avant-garde and experimental cinema, known for his boundary-pushing films such as "La Maison en Petits Cubes" and "The Man Who Planted Trees," both of which received critical acclaim but, unfortunately, did not win any major awards. His authorial style was characterized by a unique blend of surrealism and social commentary, often using surreal imagery to critique societal norms.
