Hasan Fathi

Renowned for his deft storytelling, Iranian director Hasan Fathi was born in Tehran, Iran in 1959 and has been actively contributing to the art of cinema since the 1990s. He is celebrated for his work in drama, history, and biography genres, with his most famous films being "Shahrzad" and "Zero Degree Turn". Although not heavily decorated in international film festivals, Fathi's work has been acknowledged in his home country, winning the Crystal Simorgh for Best Screenplay at the Fajr Film Festival.
