Helen Shaver, a versatile Canadian director and actress, was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, in 1951 and has been active in the industry since 1972. Specializing in drama, thriller, and sci-fi genres, she's directed numerous acclaimed episodes of popular TV series such as "The Outer Limits", "Orphan Black", and "Vikings", and won a Directors Guild of Canada award for her work in "The High Cost of Living".
