Heung-sik Park
A master storyteller of Korean cinema, Heung-sik Park was born in South Korea, in the year 1949. His directorial career spanned from the 1980s to the present, and he is known for his work in the drama and romance genres, with his most notable films including "Bravo, My Life!", "I Wish I Had a Wife" and "Memories of the Sword," the latter earning him the best director award at the 35th Blue Dragon Film Awards. Park's authorial style is deeply rooted in the exploration of human emotions, often painting a melancholic picture of love and life with a poetic touch.
