John Lounsbery, one of Disney's legendary "Nine Old Men", was born in 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. With a career spanning from the 1940s to the 1970s, he directed some of Disney's most beloved films, including "The Aristocats", "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh", and "The Rescuers", and was a key animator in a variety of genres, from adventure to musicals, and was posthumously honored with the Winsor McCay Award for lifetime achievement in animation.
