The Canadian filmmaker, Kailey Spear, was born in 1988 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and has actively been making films since the early 2010s. Predominantly working within the realms of science fiction and drama, Spear co-directed the acclaimed short films "The Mary Alice Brandon File" and "Aliens Ate My Homework," alongside her sister Sam Spear. Despite not having won major festival awards yet, her unique storytelling, deep character exploration, and innovative approach to the sci-fi genre set her apart in the cinematic landscape. As a director, Kailey Spear is not only a genuine risk-taker, but also a visionary who uses film to probe into the complexities of human nature and the mysteries of the universe.
