Kayvan Mashayekh

A master of biographical and historical dramas, Kayvan Mashayekh was born in 1969 in Tehran, Iran, but has been making waves in the film industry since 2001. Known for his ability to blend his cultural heritage with a modern cinematic approach, Mashayekh's most notable works include "The Keeper: The Legend of Omar Khayyam" and "Batting Cage," the latter of which received critical acclaim and won awards at the WorldFest Houston.
