Keita Amemiya

A master of the fantastical and visually striking, Keita Amemiya was born in 1959 in Urayasu, Japan. Making his debut in the mid-1980s, Amemiya's work primarily spans the genres of fantasy, horror, and science fiction, with his most notable films including "Zeiram" and "Mirai Ninja" which have become cult classics. Although his films haven't garnered notable awards at major film festivals, they are cherished for their unique blend of horror and whimsy, and the visual creativity that is characteristic of Amemiya's authorial style.
