Khoa Lê
A master of visual storytelling, Khoa Lê was born in 1980 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He has been an active director since 2003, primarily working in the documentary and drama genres, with his most acclaimed films including "Bao Giờ Cho Đến Tháng Mười" and "Prisoners of the Absurd", the latter of which garnered him the Best Canadian Work award at the RIDM Montreal International Documentary Festival. Lê's authorial style is marked by his intimate narrative approach and visually compelling imagery, often exploring themes related to his Vietnamese heritage.
