Khurram H. Alavi

A master of animation and storytelling, Khurram H. Alavi was born in 1975 in Karachi, Pakistan and has been an active force in the film industry since the early 2000s. Known predominantly for his work in animation, Alavi co-directed the critically acclaimed animated film "Bilal: A New Breed of Hero" which was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 2017 Annecy International Animated Film Festival. While there isn't much information available about his authorial style, the powerful storytelling and emotional depth in his work speak volumes about his abilities as a director. As a person, Alavi is deeply committed to his craft, pouring heart and soul into each project to create films that not only entertain, but inspire and provoke thought in their audiences.
