Koen Mortier

Belgian maverick of the surreal, Koen Mortier, was born in 1965 in the small town of Diksmuide, Belgium. He started his directorial journey in 1999, known for his ventures into drama and surreal genres, with his most renowned works including "Ex Drummer" (2007) and "22nd of May" (2010) that showcase his penchant for dark humor and stark visuals.
