Kyung-hee Kim

Master of South Korean animation, Kyung-hee Kim was born in 1960 in Seoul, South Korea. She established her reputation in the film industry from 1985 onwards, primarily focusing on animation genre, and has given the world masterpieces like "My Beautiful Girl, Mari" and "The Fake." Her unique storytelling and exceptional animation style led to her receiving awards such as the Grand Prize at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival for "My Beautiful Girl, Mari." Kim's ability to merge traditional Korean elements with modern themes results in a unique aesthetic that has firmly established her as a leading figure in the realm of animation.
