Laizhi Zheng

An aficionado of documentary films, Laizhi Zheng was born in 1962 in Beijing, China, and has been active in the film industry since the late 1990s. His works, often centered around social and political issues, have earned him international acclaim, with his most notable films including "The River of Life" and "The Road", the latter winning the Best Documentary award at the 2006 Beijing International Film Festival.
