Lee Cheol-ha

The Korean maestro of the macabre, Lee Cheol-ha was born in 1971 in Seoul, South Korea. An active director from 2000 onwards, Lee has mostly worked in the thriller and horror genres, with his most notable works being "Hello, Schoolgirl" and the hair-raising horror film "The Evil Twin." Although he hasn't yet been recognized with awards at major film festivals, his gripping narratives and chilling visuals have won him much acclaim within the South Korean film industry. On a personal note, Lee Cheol-ha's relentless dedication to his craft and his ability to bring chills down the spines of his audience truly set him apart as a master of his genre.
