Marc Carreté
A master of horror and suspense, Spanish director Marc Carreté was born in Barcelona in 1970 and has been actively contributing to the film industry since 2004. His chilling narratives and unnerving aesthetics are particularly prominent in his most famous films such as "Asmodexia" and "After the Lethargy", although the director hasn't yet been recognized with awards at major festivals. Carreté’s authorial style is characterized by a unique blend of supernatural elements and psychological thrills, often set against the backdrop of his native Catalonian culture.
Marc Carreté, despite his fondness for the macabre, is an incredibly warm and charismatic individual, whose passion for storytelling is as captivating as his films.
