Mario Azzopardi

An adept storyteller of thrill and suspense, Mario Azzopardi was born in Malta in 1950 and has been active in the film industry since the early 1970s. Known for directing in the genres of science fiction, drama, and thriller, his most famous works are The Outer Limits, Stargate SG-1 and the film, Lost Voyage. Though he hasn't garnered any awards at major film festivals, his consistent contribution to the television industry and his knack for creating tension in his narratives are noteworthy. Azzopardi, with his profound understanding of human psychology and uncanny ability to depict it in his works, is indeed a master of his craft.
