Active from 1943 until 1980, he is best known for his work in giallo and erotic horror films, with his most famous pieces being "Giallo in Venice" and "Patrick Still Lives". However, despite his prolific career, Landi never achieved notable awards at major film festivals.

Known for his audacious exploitation of sex and violence, Landi's style was both controversial and compelling, pulling audiences into a lurid, visceral world.
