Mark Pavia

Mark Pavia, born in 1963, hails from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and has been an active director since the early 1990s. Predominantly working in the horror genre, Pavia is best known for his 1997 film "The Night Flier," based on a short story by Stephen King, and the 2016 feature "Fender Bender," neither of which, however, have won him awards at major film festivals. His directorial style is characterized by a unique blend of suspense and nightmarish imagery, often leaving a lasting impression on the viewer. On a personal note, Pavia's deep understanding of the human psyche and his ability to transform it into haunting visual narratives makes him a truly remarkable figure in the realm of horror cinema.
