Michel Lemire

Canadian animator par excellence, Michel Lemire was born in 1950 in Montreal, Canada. Active from the mid-1970s to early 2000s, Lemire was influential in the fantasy and animation genres, best known for his collaboration with René Laloux on the internationally acclaimed film "Gandahar" (1988), which won the Special Jury Award at the Avoriaz Fantastic Film Festival.
