Michiel van Erp

Master of Dutch cinema, Michiel van Erp, was born in 1963 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Active from the early 1990s onwards, van Erp has contributed significantly to the documentary and drama genres, with his most celebrated titles including "I am a Woman Now" and "Niemand in de stad". Although his work has not been widely recognized at major film festivals, the distinctiveness of his authorial style, characterized by a compassionate lens and an acute understanding of human emotions, has earned him a dedicated following.
