Miroslav Momčilović

Serbian auteur of dark humor, Miroslav Momčilović, was born in 1969 in Belgrade, Serbia. He has been active in the film industry since 1996, predominantly working in the genres of comedy and drama, with some of his most acclaimed works including "We Are Not Angels" and "Death of a Man in the Balkans". His work has been recognized with various awards, notably winning the Best Screenplay at the Serbian Academy of Film Arts and Sciences for "Death of a Man in the Balkans". Momčilović's distinctive style often uses humor to explore societal issues, weaving complex narratives that are uniquely his own.
