Niels Arden Oplev

A master of psychological thrillers and crime dramas, Danish director Niels Arden Oplev was born in 1961 in Denmark. Renowned for his compelling storytelling and distinct style, Oplev started his directing career in 1984 and has since helmed a diverse range of films and TV series, with his most famous work being the 2009 film "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", which won several awards including a BAFTA for Best Film not in the English Language.
