He is best known for his work in the adventure and science fiction genres, having famously contributed to the iconic look and feel of the "Star Wars" series, "Raiders of the Lost Ark," and "Superman" among others. Reynolds' distinguished career includes two Academy Awards for Art Direction on "Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes Back" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
