Paul Bartel
Master of black comedy and satire, Paul Bartel was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA in 1938 and enjoyed an active career as a director from 1968 until his death in 2000. Bartel's cinematic oeuvre primarily spans the genres of dark comedy, satire, and cult films, with his most famous works being "Eating Raoul" (1982) and "Death Race 2000" (1975) for which he earned a cult following.
