Paul Meins
Dubbed as the quiet auteur, Paul Meins was born in the quaint town of Dresden, Germany in 1956. Active from the late 80s to the present, Meins has made a name for himself in the realms of drama and mystery, with his most famous films including "Der stille Schrei" and "Das Geheimnis", both of which have garnered acclaim but have unfortunately eluded awards at major film festivals. His style is characterized by minimal dialogue, atmospheric cinematography and a focus on character-driven narratives which have become his signature. A man of few words, both in his films and in life, Meins possesses an unerring ability to capture the human condition in its rawest form.
