Predrag Golubović
A master of Eastern European cinema, Predrag Golubović was born in 1931 in Belgrade, Kingdom of Yugoslavia (now Serbia). His active years spanned from 1963 to 1998, wherein he showcased his talent predominantly in the genres of drama and war, producing notable films such as "Kad budem mrtav i beo" and "Tri". Despite not garnering any major international awards, Golubović's work was highly regarded within his home country, characterized by its intense focus on social realism and the human condition under difficult circumstances. With a heartfelt tone, it can be said that Golubović was a director who not only captured the struggles of his time but also encapsulated the soul of Eastern European cinema in his work.
