Reg Harkema

Canadian filmmaker Reg Harkema was born in 1966 in Toronto, Ontario. Active since 1983, he is best known for his works in the drama and comedy genre, with his most notable films being "Monkey Warfare" and "A Girl is a Gun", the former of which garnered him the Special Jury Prize at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival. Harkema's authorial style often incorporates elements of surrealism, blended with social commentary and dark humor.
