Richard Crudo

Richard Crudo

American cinematographer and director, Richard Crudo was born in 1957 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He has been active in the film industry since the 1980s, chiefly working within the drama, action and crime genres, with his most renowned films including "American Buffalo" and "American Pie." Although Crudo has not won any major film festival awards, his impressive cinematography, characterized by its raw realism and sharply defined imagery, led to him being elected as President of the American Society of Cinematographers on six occasions. Despite his professional achievements, Richard Crudo, at his core, is a man who fiercely champions the art of storytelling through the evocative language of film.
