Ries Dahlquist

His work, mainly in the realm of documentary and short films, including significant pieces such as "Människor i stad" and "Hästhandlare", is revered for its insightful portrayals; however, despite his undeniable talent, major awards at film festivals eluded him. Dahlquist's authorial style was characterized by intimate narratives and a keen eye for capturing the essence of everyday life, embodying the spirit of Swedish cinema.
