Shinji Higuchi

Redefining the boundaries of Japanese cinema, Shinji Higuchi, born in 1965, originates from Tokyo, Japan. Active from the mid-1980s onwards, Higuchi has made significant contributions to the genres of science fiction, action, and fantasy, with his most notable films including the "Attack on Titan" series and "Shin Godzilla," the latter having earned him the Japan Academy Prize for Director of the Year.
