Taedong Park

Visionary from the East, Taedong Park was born in 1969 in the bustling city of Seoul, South Korea. Actively directing films since the mid-1990s, Park is best known for his work in the action and drama genres, with his most notable films being "The Ghost Detective" and "The Great King, Sejong". Despite not having won any major film festival awards, Park’s distinctive filmmaking style, marked by intense storytelling and intricate character development, has won him much acclaim in the industry.
