Takashi Miike
Japanese provocateur of cinema, Takashi Miike, was born in 1960 in Yao, Osaka, Japan and has been active in the film industry since 1991. Known predominantly for his work in the horror, action, and yakuza genres, some of his most renowned films include "Audition", "Ichi the Killer", and "13 Assassins", with "Audition" having won the FIPRESCI Prize at the Rotterdam International Film Festival.
