Uday Shetty

An imaginative storyteller from India, Uday Shetty was born in 1971 in Mumbai. Active from the mid-1990s onwards, Shetty made his mark in the Bollywood industry primarily in comedy and drama genres, with his most acclaimed films including "Welcome" and "No Problem". His unique blend of humor and realism earned him several nominations at prominent award ceremonies in India, although a win at a major international film festival eluded him.
