William Cameron Menzies
A pioneer in the field of production design, William Cameron Menzies was born in 1896 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, and was active in the film industry from the 1920s to the mid-1950s. His portfolio includes a range of genres, but he is best known for his work in science fiction and adventure, with his most famous films being "Things to Come" (1936) and "Invaders from Mars" (1953).
