Yong Soon Park
Renowned for his contribution to Korean cinema, Yong Soon Park was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1946. He was an active director from 1974 to 2008, mainly in the genres of drama and romance, with his most famous films including "Green Fish" and "Waikiki Brothers," both of which have garnered immense acclaim both domestically and internationally. Although Park never won any major awards at international film festivals, his unique narrative style and the emotionally charged performances he elicited from his actors have left an indelible mark on Korean cinema.
