Yue Lü

Celebrated Chinese filmmaker Yue Lü was born in 1957 in Hebei, China. Active in the industry from 1980 onwards, he predominantly worked within the genres of drama and romance, creating renowned films like "To Live", and "Raise the Red Lantern", which garnered him international recognition and numerous awards, although none from the major film festivals.
