Yurek Bogayevicz
A master of emotional storytelling and intimate character studies, Yurek Bogayevicz was born in 1944 in Lwow, Poland (now Lviv, Ukraine). He actively directed films from 1980 to 2000, mostly in the drama genre, with his most notable works including "Anna" featuring Sally Kirkland who was nominated for the Best Actress Oscar, and "Edges of the Lord" starring Haley Joel Osment.
