Željko Mirković

A master of documentary storytelling from the heart of Eastern Europe, Željko Mirković was born in 1965 in Belgrade, Serbia. He has been active in the film industry since the late 80s, primarily focusing on the genre of documentaries, with his most notable works being "The Second Meeting" and "The Promise". His films have garnered various awards and recognitions, including the Grand Prix at the Bosifest in 2011, underlining his poignant style that often explores the human condition within the socio-political landscape of his native land.
