Fie dreams that her father has became ill and falls. She wants to leave her place as maid and go home, but it\’s not easy to tell Mrs Andersen or the young man Morten, who has been interested in her. Amanda has other plans. She is determined to win the bet over who is first with a man and does everything possible to get to a party at one of the big hotels in Skagen. Her father\’s interest in the young Count Ditmar gives her unexpected help. And then the hotel host gets an urge to look through keyholes, while the young girls bathe.
