Only Latino hottie Scotty is truly to the taste of FBI agent Diane Yates, who gets free rein from former boss Stillman, whose marriage she claims to have wrecked, with Lily assigned primarily, to check on the theory the expert-fatal shooting of a businessman by a man in a green army coat, who took the shelves, is the return of a presumed serial killer, who used that MO on four previous victims 27 years ago, starting with a student in a drive-in cinema, including a bus driver and a debt collector, no apparent link or motives. The team finds it may all link to the drive in owner, whom the bank foreclosed on, first having his car possessed, constantly humiliated in front of his son aged 14, whom he abandoned. Yates's FBI superior is furious she involved municipal and state police in an non-authorized investigation, and got shot at while the suspect is found murdered.
