Episode Overview

While May focuses on winning her third Pokémon Contest, the rest of her group concentrate on helping their newfound friend maintain his secret identity so that he can compete without interference from his mother–who staunchly opposes his having any contact with Pokémon. When Jessie, using a false identity, enters the contest and makes a surprisingly strong showing, both May and her friend must struggle to keep from being ousted. Meanwhile, having gotten wind that her son has entered the Pokémon Contest, this friend's mother heads directly to the contest arena herself.
