The Block - Season 1 Episode 1

Four couples are introduced as they move in to the Block, located in the Sydney suburb of Bondi. The apartments are assigned to the couples by the drawing of keys, and everyone is shocked at the level of devastation that they discover in them. The couples rip up the horrible old carpets in their apartments and discover hardwood underneath, but one couple find weak boards – and then termites! There is some strife over an ongoing issue of a water leak from one of the upstairs apartments.
